Portland Press Herald - Portland condo complex of ‘new age starter homes’ gets green light from city

More housing could soon be on the market in Portland after a major project got the go-ahead Tuesday night from the planning board.

Stroudwater Commons is planned on a site near the Portland Jetport, with more than 150 multi-family condos. Project leaders say half of the condos would be considered affordable housing.

The Portland-based developer, Greenmars Real Estate, says there will be 130 one-, two- and three-bedroom condos, which would be located in 13 buildings on 1877 Congress Street. Read the rest here!
