New affordable housing development opens in Brunswick

BRUNSWICK (WGME) -- A new, affordable home development is now open in Brunswick.

It includes 21 homes and a multi-family apartment complex

Governor Janet Mills cut the ribbon for Wilbur’s Woods Monday.

The development is supported by the Affordable Homeownership Program, an initiative of Mills’ Maine Jobs and Recovery Plan.

To date, the program has invested about $20 million to help build more than 300 new single-family homes in 21 communities across the state. Read the rest here!
